Nagios Downtime Scheduler

Requires: php > 4.x, but may also work with earlier versions.
Context: Goes great with cron-flakes...er, cron.

Usage: nagios_down.php [-H <s|h>]|-S <s|h>] [-g group] [-h host] [-s service] <-f|-d duration> <-b begin> <-e end> <-a author> <-c comment> [-n]
-H      Schedule Downtime for "h"osts or "s"ervices in a specific HostGroup
-S      Schedule Downtime for "h"osts or "s"ervices in a specific ServiceGroup
-g      Host or Service Group associated with -H or -S request
-h      Schedule downtime for host, except when used with -s.  Cannot be used with -H or -S
-s      Schedule downtime for service, cannot be used with -H or -S.  May be "all" when used with -h.
-f      Set a fixed schedule, otherwise downtime runs for <duration> seconds
-d      Duration of downtime, in seconds.  Cannot be used with -f
-b      Beginning of Downtime.
-e      End of Downtime.
-a      Author: Who is scheduling the downtime?
-c      Comment: Reason for scheduling the downtime.
-n      Dry run.  Don't actually schedule anything, but show what would have been scheduled.

        -b and -e options can take any string recognized by PHP's strtotime function.
        Example: "13:30 tomorrow", "Thursday", etc...

This script may be used to schedule any type of downtime as long as the user has access to write to the
nagios command file.  This works particularly nicely when used inside of a crontab to schedule recurring
downtimes events.

To configure the script, just change the NAGIOSCMD definition at the top of the script.

Example Usage:

* To schedule downtime for the PING service on localhost between midnight and 1am:

nagios_down.php -h localhost -s PING -f -b midnight -e "01:00 tomorrow" -a Admin -c "Server Maintenance"

* To do the same, with a flexible downtime window:

nagios_down.php -h localhost -s PING -d 3600 -b midnight -e "01:00 tomorrow" -a Admin -c "Server Maintenance"
(see SCHEDULE_SVC_DOWNTIME)

* To schedule downtime for all services contained in a ServiceGroup:

nagios_down.php -Ss -g servicegroup -f -b midnight -e "01:00 tomorrow" -a Admin -c "Server Maintenance"
(see SCHEDULE_SERVICEGROUP_SVC_DOWNTIME)

* To schedule downtime for all hosts which have a service in ServiceGroup:

nagios_down.php -Sh -g servicegroup -f -b midnight -e "01:00 tomorrow" -a Admin -c "Server Maintenance"
(see SCHEDULE_SERVICEGROUP_HOST_DOWNTIME)

* To schedule downtime for all services on hosts in a HostGroup:

nagios_down.php -Hs -g hostgroup -f -b midnight -e "01:00 tomorrow" -a Admin -c "Server Maintenance"
(see SCHEDULE_HOSTGROUP_SVC_DOWNTIME)

* To schedule downtime for all services on a host, but not for the host itself:

nagios_down.php -h localhost -s all -f -b midnight -e "01:00 tomorrow" -a Admin -c "Server Maintenance"
