SysNagios

Sysnagios turns the wheel 180 degrees by changing the direction of information flow in the Nagios environment. Traditionally you configure the server and push config out to the monitored hosts. With SysNagios you configure the monitored hosts, the server downloads and parses the config and then creates a server config. This way there is always consitency between the nagios server and the monitored hosts. It also gives authority to the people who are responsible for the monitored hosts to create and manage their custom scripts, hostgroups, contactgroups etc. We currently run 990 hosts and 9479 service checks with the aid of this tool. /Markus Almroth
