pg_db_cache_hits

A PostgreSQL plugin that checks the database's cache hits percentage, the closer to 100% the better, lower than 80% provides extra unwanted and costly read() calls. So as a DBA you can easily measure your database performance and tune it in time before you are confronted with a slow perfroming database.
