NagMQ exposes the internals of the Nagios Core daemon to a ZeroMQ enterprise message bus. It will publish events from the event broker over a publish/subscribe socket, accept commands and check results (active/passive) over a pull socket, and respond to queries about the state of objects in Nagios (services, hosts, hostgroups, servicegroups, contacts, etc); all as easily decodable JSON objects.
