Every admin can do it. 1) Install livestatus. Description on http://mathias-kettner.de/checkmk_livestatus.html 2) Connect USB-COM adapter and IR decoder. 3) Read codes from remote. Use utility RealTerm ( https://sourceforge.net/projects/realterm/ ) 4) Send codes to bulb by adapter-decoder. 5) Download scripts and configs from github or write self. 6) No need more look on web or e-mail from monitoring.
