mbdivert

mbdivert is a tool that runs commands either directly, or through some diversion (currently ssh or nrpe), based on the name of the host you're interested in. This allows you to easily divert service checks through a firewall or gateway host to get to a remote network. It can also be used to proxy checks (SNMP checks for example) through a host on a local network, to make UDP checks more reliable. It is a wrapper around existing monitoring plugins to implement the desired diversions. It can be implemented with little or no change to your existing Nagios config files.
