These plugins were developed by Altinity as part of Opsview software (http://www.opsview.org). To enable better checking of Cisco devices, the devices can be configured to pass data to a FLAVIO engine for parsing and storing within a database. This perl script examines the statistics for a particular device (and optionally a specific port) and generates warning or critical alerts if thresholds are breached. A configuration file can be used if the database is not called netflow, accessed by user netflow on the same host as the check is run on. The script makes use of Perl and Nagios::Plugin.
