check_apt

nagios-apt-watch can monitor the status of all packages installed on a system via APT. The plugin triggers a warning, when one ore more packages needs to be upgraded. The plugin is currently in an early development state. It is working on some systems at my site, but it's not tested widely. Please use the download link on the project's homepage and the documentation provided there. Feedback of every type is much appreciated (please use the forums on http://nagios-aptwatch.alioth.debian.org/).
