First you should add an hook to errpt to launch a script when an message appears. (For example put the file sendnagios in /tmp) After creating this file do "odmadd /tmp/sendnagios" on AIX command line You need to install : - send_nsca on the client AIX server. - nsca daemon on the nagios server. - register a passive service with the description Errpt for the AIX server
