The script uses the output of "sar" for getting the data. According to that you will have to install sysstat/sar prior to using this script. I suggest running "sa1 1 1" every X minutes via cron and fetching the results with this script. The script checks the given params for warning/critical status for every single CPU an causes an alarm if one of it exceeds them. In addition to that the script generates nice performance output of every CPU fur further analysis. The version of the script is 0.2 at the moment and my first time with perl - so please do not expect it to be professional programmed, updates will follow.
