Project Notes
Check the uptime of a system to see if it has been up to long. Strange as it may seem there are some applications out there that when loaded on a Unix like system tend to behave erratically over time and restarting the applicaiton itself is not a sufficient remedy. A periodic reboot tends to keep the application and the server on course. Hence the reasoning behind this seemingly useless check for a Unix system. The script will also check if the system has not been up long enough. This is kind of an extra check to see if the system rebooted with no other alarms being set off. It may seem dubious but, it was easy enough to implement so i put it in as an option.
