Description:

This plugin will check that ethX is up and that there is a link detected. I designed it mainly for bonded nic sets, it can be hard to tell if 1 of the nics is unplugged because the interface will be up and the bondX will also work. This monitors the nics.

This plugin will check that ethX is up and that there is a link detected. I designed it mainly for bonded nic sets, it can be hard to tell if 1 of the nics is unplugged because the interface will be up and the bondX will also work. This monitors the nics. Interface refers to ethX like "ifup eth0". Link refers to the nic being plugged in and connected to another device. Monitor NIC link is up Version 1.0 (c) 2012 Chad Columbus Options: -h Print detailed help screen -n 'NIC' Set what to monitor. This looks for the name of your NIC: eth0, eth1, bond0, wlan0, etc. Default is eth0.
