This script realise a check_http as the basic Nagios check plugin but with some differences : -was written with Python ( use Httplib and urllib2 ) -check the response ( keyword presence ) Dont forget to put a timeout in your httplib module : -Edit /usr/lib/python2.4/httplib.py -Go to def connect(self): function -Add self.sock.timeout(xx) just before self.sock.connect xx= number of seconds
