Nagios check to recursively scan via SNMP on HP BladeSystem the Fan and power supplies. In addition also the overall system status is retrieved.

Description

In addition to other Nagios checks this script access the “root” OID of the fan and power supplies and iterates for values.
In this way, within on Nagios check all values of the installed fans can be retrieved and the worst status determines the overall check result.

This check structure can be used for other hardware and components to monitor.

Example:
Call: /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_snmp_HP_Bladesystem.pl -H -C -w 3: -c 4: -t Fan-Conditions
