Project Notes
This script gets info of a perc6i controller via MegaCli (linux-megacli-2.00.12_1) and if raid is degraded or there are critical or offline physical disks it returns critical or warning, else it returns ok. MegaCli and sudo need to be installed for this scripts to work. MegaCli does need root privileges, to make this work for the nagios user add nagios ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /usr/local/libexec/MegaCli to the sudoers file. Tested on FreeBSD 7.1 and Nagios 3.03 Use at your own risc! Limitations: It only checks for 1-9 degraded raid configurations and 1-9 critical or offline disks It does not return an unknown state on error of the sudo MegaCli command A better solution: http://www.nagiosexchange.org/cgi-bin/page.cgi?g=2710.html;d=1
