Project Notes
Check if there are any crashinfo files detected on a Cisco device, which would indicate a hard or software issue. You can trigger an alarm if there are any crashinfo files and trigger an alarm that crashinfo file is generated within a certain amount of days. Cisco routers include the date in crashinfo files names. Switches don't have a real-time clock and therefore no date is included in the crashinfo filename. Switches store their crashinfo file into a directory and include a sequence number for each crashinfo file. This plugin always generates a critical alarm if a crashinfo directory is detected. ./check_snmp_cisco_crashinfo.pl -H 192.168.0.1 -C public Number of files: 154, Number of crashinfo files: 3, Latest crashinfo file is 432 days old : CRITICAL
