It creates a view in the database the first time it's run. All consecutive times it will return the size. You can set the size factor to KB, MB or GB so that you can get the output you'd like. It requires the pqxx library (PostgreSQL's C++ wrapper classes) and ofcourse the PostgreSQL client library the libpq.
