check_sap.pl uses sapinfo from SAP RFCSDK. sapinfo uses a similar communication like your SAP GUI, so you can check if your application or messages servers are working without the need of a real SAP login. To get sapinfo, have a look at check_sap.pl --help, section "RFCSDK AND SAPINFO". Beware, the command line parameters of check_sap.sh und check_sap.pl are different! +++++ Required perl modules: - Nagios::Plugin>= 0.14 (needs Perl 5.8.4) - Pod::Usage +++++ Changes 1.8 (2008-01-19): - work' with ePN (tested with Nagios 3.0rc1) - checks returned SAP SID in mshost-mode
