check_traceroute

Description:

This plugin does a traceroute to a target host and checks if a desired HOP is a certain IP address.

I use it to alert on multi-ISP change when I cannot control the routers.

Usage:
check_remote REMOTEIP NHOP ROUTE1 ROUTE2

Example:
check_remote 5.5.5.5 3 1.1.1.1 2.2.2.2

returns
OK if HOP number 3 to 5.5.5.5 is 1.1.1.1
WARN if is 2.2.2.2
CRITICAL if something else
UNKNOWN on other errors.

Thank you!
I use it to check if our main WAN ist active or our backup line.

Had to install traceroute first on CentOS - a bit strange for an admin mainly using Windows :-)
