Install: 1.) Download and compile the nicstat utility. Copy the nicstat binary to your plugins directory or wherever. 2.) Add the plugin to appropriate directory. Modify the "UTIL_PATH" variable to point to the nicstat utility from line 1. 3.) Run the command, then add to nrpe config and Nagios command checks. Usage: chk_sol_nicstat -i -P -w -c Example: chk_sol_nicstat -i bge0 -P 4 -w 75 -c 95 Paramater description: -i | --interface: interface to check, will warn if not present or wrong interface selected. -P | --passes: Number of checks to run, from 3 to 6. Each check takes one second. -w | --warning: Warning threshold -c | --critical: Critical threshold
