Project Notes
This modification to the check_curl allows for having a webpage run your check code and return a status to Nagios. This way, if you have a remote process running on a webserver that needs to utilize some prebuilt code (maybe it talks to a database and runs specific queries that aren't directly accessible from your Nagios machine). The webpage just needs to be written to return a line of status information so that Nagios can handle the condition and make the appropriate notification(s). For Example: Status: OK - There are 2 pending records in the queue. or Status: WARNING - There are 10 pending records in the queue. or Status: CRITICAL - There are 99 pending records in the queue.
