Successfull tested with Raspberry Pi 1 Model B, Nagios 4 + NagiosGraph and Raspbian (Debian). Usage: ./check_tcp_connections -s [a|l|w|e] -w -c Only one state !!! -s state: a:all, l:listen, w:wait, e:established Update 1.1: - New state added: s:syn (perfect to detect SYN-Flooding) - netstat don't resolve names Installation ============ 1. Put the plugin into your plugin-directory. 2. Dont forget to set the permissions of the file to 755 on your linux machine. Also you need netstat. 3. At commands.cfg add the following lines: define command { command_name check_tcp_connections command_line $USER1$/check_tcp_connections -s $ARG1$ -w $ARG2$ -c $ARG3$ } Now you are ready to define your own service with "check_command check_tcp_connections!a!30!50" or other values.
