Squid Reverse Proxy Checker

Checks the performance metrics of a squid reverse proxy/accelerator. Returns performance information for: CPU Usage, Remaining file descriptors, and AVG http requests since startup. You can set warning and critical levels for the amount of file descriptors left currently. Integrates with PNP4Nagios (template included) for graphing data. Run with '--help' for command line parameters. Written in bash. If you add features or modify this script and want me to update this plugin listing shoot me an email. I provide no warranty and am sharing this in the hopes that someone else will find it useful. NOTE: squidclient must be available on the nagios server running this plugin. squidclient must also be able to connect to your squid server to get performance metrics. Check your ACL if you're having trouble.
