++ The advanced featetures compared to original check_radius_adv are: * radius attributes used for the authentication can be defined on command line. ++ Installation Just unpack the file. Broken password handling

Useless: password+shared secret is encrypted wrongly, as shown by garbage User-Password received at Freeradius.
